Ian has worked in the mental health field for almost 10 years, providing support to individuals and families. His approach has always been to work collaboratively in uncovering natural skills and healthy inclinations already in place, thereby growing real change through the promotion of interpersonal strength rather than relational weaknesses.
Now in his second year as a certified counsellor, Ian continues to uphold a practical realization that all people inside their families or any other social union may face significant difficulty, even confusion. That is why his post-secondary education and training within Counselling Psychology has focused on attachment and family systems perspectives, which both allow him to maintain a sensitive curiosity into unique behavioral patterns while preserving essential respect and dignity that everyone deserves.
